A.R.K. Food and Family Services, Inc., is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to improving the quality of lives of individuals and families. This organization was formed to combat hunger and its ensuing social issues. The organization does so by offering nutritious food products, warm clothing, referrals for shelters, disaster relief, and educating the community on nutrition and other similar health related topics. The mission of A.R.K. Food and Family Services, Inc. is to strengthen communities by improving the quality of lives for individuals and families.
This organization focuses on the identifying and redistributing local resources to address pockets of need for clothing and food insecurities in the community.
In the event of an emergency, assistance is provided to individuals and families seeking referrals for temporary housing and shelter.
Depending on the availability of resources, temporary assistance is offered in catastrophic events such as hurricanes, floods, and fires.
During the year the community is offered a variety of educational opportunities relating to health, and wellness.
